The official World Cup 2026 public viewing in Bamberg is organised by the City on Maximiliansplatz – Maxplatz for short. Big screen, drinks and food stalls, open seating for the Germany matches. The City announces dates and matches at the start of the tournament.
Our apartment house at Luitpoldstraße 16 is within walking distance – final whistle, a short walk, you're in your apartment. If you want a bit quieter (e.g. after knock-out games when celebrations continue on the square), Zollnerstraße 195 in Bamberg's quieter east is an option, with the centre reachable by bus or bike.
Which apartment for one night?
Travelling solo, one of our compact apartments is plenty (own fully-equipped kitchen, private bathroom, smart TV, fast Wi-Fi). Coming as a couple or want a bit more space? Book one of the larger apartments (spacious living area, fully-equipped kitchen).

From our apartments on Luitpoldstraße 16, Maximiliansplatz is an easy walk. From Zollnerstraße 195 in Bamberg's east, the centre is a short bus or bike ride.
